We start from Maremagnum Shopping Center, right next to the Barcelona Aquarium, and head towards Paseo de Colón, an avenue from which we can appreciate the sea combined with the city's architecture, the World Trade Center Hotel, and, of course, Colón Square. In the square stands a 50-meter iron monument to Christopher Columbus, which has an amazing circular viewpoint.
From there, we ascend to reach Hotel Miramar. From here, you can see and fall in love with the entire splendor of Barcelona! Continuing our ascent up the mountain, we reach the other end of the cable car. Also, we pass by the Joan Miró Foundation and the Joan Antoni Samaranch Olympic and Sports Museum, ideal for getting to know the history of sports in detail.
On our route, we also encounter the Montjuïc Olympic Stadium, where FCB currently plays. We'll also see the Palau Sant Jordi, a multifunctional pavilion built for the 1992 Olympic Games.
Descending, we come across the Puerta de Ávila village, the highest provincial capital in the country at 1131 meters above sea level. We'll also see the Fórum House and the Magic Fountains of Montjuïc, the National Art Museum of Catalonia, Plaza España, the Venetian Towers, and the Metropolitan Las Arenas shopping center.
Continuing, we pass near the Barcelona Musical Theater and skirt the Ethnological Museum. Finishing the route, you'll see the Port of Barcelona, a place with dreamlike architecture, colorful markets, and delicious cuisine on the shores of the Mediterranean.
